After visiting 3 previous garages with no luck finding the issue that was affecting boost and what sounded like an air leak from my BMW, I landed on a gold mine when my fourth and final attempt at a definitive diagnosis put me at Atlantic Performance.It was the boss that dealt with me, which is always nice but, I left the car with him, telling him what the issue was, no fault codes for help. After a day he called me back to say he honestly wasn't 100% but can we go out for a test drive. I drove and pointed out to him every time the boost dropped and the air whooshing sound began (I was used to the car so to me, it was very apparent but to everyone else who drove it, it was very easily overlooked.) He then took the wheel and again I pointed out every time it happened. It became more apparent to him and so he had something to work with them.The next day he found what the issue was, a creased insert on the air intake system. The only wait then was for parts.Throughout all this, he would voice his methodical working out of could be's and may be's and eventually whittled down to finding the problem. I was very impressed with his approach and found him to be a high grade mechanic, not a glorified fitter which most of the other garages seem to be. No one wants the tricky stuff, they just want to change brakes and perform routine services. I'm very grateful for having the issue finally resolved and without doubt I will use Atlantic performance again. Professional service, genuinely nice people and also a very clean garage.
I'm always dubious about using new mechanics as I know very little about cars. Andy and the team gave me a warm welcome, kept in touch and sorted the job, from diagnosis to repair in a couple of hours.They clearly have a passion for cars and the work area is spotless.Price was spot on too.I hopefully won't be seeing them again soon, but if the car breaks, I'm going there. Thanks a lot Guys.
First time user of this garage and can not recommend them highly enough. Professional assessment of the vehicle problem. Charged me exactly what was quoted. Called me when when they said they would and finished the repair ahead of the promised time. I will use them for sure next time I need a garage.

The service I received for the lock up was outstanding. The lock up itself was very clean, dry and excellent value for money. I would definitely use the services of Atlantic again in the future.
