We came here unplanned for lunch.Didn't disappoint. We both enjoyed a tasty and ample carvery for 8.99 each. The.veef and Gannon were lovely as was the turkey and vegetables served. Staff we friendly, Polite and we had no issues or concerns. Happily return to try the pizzas.
Usually the food here is very good. Great roast help yourself to veg and potatoes. They also do a very nice breakfast e,g. Bacon, eggs ,sausage fried bread tomatoes all very tastey help your self as much as you can eat. I recomend this place. Also free parking.
Friendly and obliging staff. Unfortunately although the food was fresh and nicely cooked, it was only lukewarm. And this was at 1230. Staff did heat it up when asked.
Just visited to sample the breakfast and I have to say I was really impressed. The breakfast is all you can eat from a buffet style set up. You can help yourself to bacon, sausages, eggs, mushrooms, hash browns, tomatoes, beans, fried bread, toast and tea.The only downside for me was the tomatoes, they serve the tinned variety where as I do fresh tomatoes but that is just a personal preference of mine and does not affect the 5 rating.One thing to bear in mind when visiting here is you have to enter your vehicle registration into a console inside the pub or you get a penalty charge but parking is free.The breakfast was tasty, the staff lovely and pleasant and overall my experience was very positive.A very easy 10/10 from me.
Extraordinarily lovely carvery had here. Interesting concept for regular menu items where you get a buzzer, and have to go collect it from the kitchen counter. Will definitely be back if we are in the area.
