Staff would rather stand around chatting with that help you out on the self service. We politely asked them to help with a till and we -the customer- were told to wait while staff finished their conversations! We had to ask again before a member of staff rolled their eyes and walk 3 steps to help us! - RUDE!
The entrance to the store is overrun by kids and teens hanging outside, shouting and smoking. So much litter daily Ive had to empty trolley out into the bin to start shopping. The actual store is ok. Theyre fighting a losing battle for some reason. It feels disjointed the trolley bay in relation to the store too. Hundreds of trolleys everywhere.
Click and collect, how long do you have to wait. Should be seating area and entertainment. Free drinks would be nice.
As soon as you walk in the security guard is sat next to the door observing your every move on the CCTV - that's to intimidate you. Add to this the very loud music being played, having to get an employee to fill an empty shelf and not enough tills being open. This all works into a feeling of 'I hate this place and need to get out right now'.
Had a rather bad experience with a member of staff on the customer service desk. I havent really done a big shop there since. Today I had to collect a parcel so I thought Id grab a few things and go. I asked several staff members for a certain product but no one could point me in the right direction. A young lady called Rachel came to my rescue She was extremely helpful, kind and went over and above to help me find certain items. She has restored my faith in ASDA and is a real credit to the store. Well done! Great service!
